Computer Simulation in Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic Studies by Puspendra Kumar in Modern Applications of Bioequivalence & Bioavailability | Juniper Publishers Computer simulation in the field of Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamics or in silica model is need of the hour in the biomedical field. In silica studies helps the research with ease and effectiveness. The current review summarises the various computer simulation models for different drugs with their outcomes. The current field is still under developed and needs more number of researches to achieve the goals. https://juniperpublishers.com/mabb/MABB.MS.ID.555582.php

Impact of Magnetic Nanomaterials on Biotechnology and Biomedicine | Juniper Publishers

Image
Impact of Magnetic Nanomaterials on Biotechnology and Biomedicine by RV Mehta in Modern Applications of Bioequivalence & Bioavailability | Juniper Publishers This note describes certain salient features of magnetic nanoparticles and their applications in biotechnology and biomedicine. Twenty first century is said to be the century of nanomaterials and nanotechnology. The word nano is derived from Greek word ‘nano’ means ‘dwarf’. It is one billionth of 1 meter. A page of this journal is about 100,000 nanometers thick. Atomic diameter of gold is nearly one third of a nanometer. So a gold nanoparticle will have only 3-4 atoms .Like this any material at Nanoscale will have only few atoms. In larger particles there are very large numbers of atoms and application of quantum mechanics in multi body is extremely difficult, time consuming and results of classical mechanics and that derived from quantum mechanics are not significantly different. While at Nanoscale situation is ...

Book Review 'Mencegah, Merawat Dan Memulihkan Penagih Dadah: Beberapa Pendekatan Dan Amalan Di Malaysia' (Malay Version) by Uqbah iqbal in Modern Applications of Bioequivalence & Bioavailability | Juniper Publishers Written by Mahmood Nazar Mohamed, efforts to treat and rehabilitate drug addicts should be continued by seeking more effective treatment procedures and methods. With reduced dependency on drugs, then intergratically, other ancillary problems have also been resolved such as criminal behavior, antisocial and other miscellaneous activities. In this regard, it is the responsibility of all parties involved, whether government agencies, NGOs or researchers to identify and implement more effective treatment and remedial methods. The Malaysian government has taken an active and decisive step in 2003 to combat drug abuse completely. Therefore, in 2003 it was gazetted as the Year of Fighting Drug Outpatient. All parties have been called upon to mobilize ...

Eclipta Alba, A bunch of Pharmacological Possibilities- A Review | Juniper Publishers

Eclipta Alba, A bunch of Pharmacological Possibilities- A Review by Ajeet in Modern Applications of Bioequivalence & Bioavailability in Juniper Publishers During literature survey of different plants, we came across a pant named Eclipta Alba, with too many different pharmacological actions, which keep motivated us to re-review the world of Eclipta Alba. In order to find some more aspects, this review has been summarized with too many works of different scientists across the world. During this task, we found that Eclipta alba has too many chemical constituents like Coumestans, Luteolins, Flavanoids and Glycosides which are responsible for their variety of pharmacological actions such as Immunomodulator, Antimicrobial, Anti-inflammatory, Analgesic, Anti-hyperglycemic, Anti-anaphylactic, Anthelmintic, Anti-viral, Ovicidal, Anti-hypertensive, Hepato- protective, Anti-cancer, Antioxidant etc. it is also used as anti-venome. https://juniperpublishers.com/mabb/MABB.M...

Technology Development of Glycosyl Resins for Wood Composites | Juniper Publishers

Image
Technology Development of Glycosyl Resins for Wood Composites by Sheldon Q Shi in  Modern Applications of Bioequivalence & Bioavailability in Juniper Publishers The synthesis methods for renewable and eco-friendly glycosyl adhesives were reviewed. The low molecular weight carbohydrate-based adhesives and the carbohydrate modified urea-formaldehyde resin, melamine-formaldehyde resin, phenol-formaldehyde resin and polyurethane resin were discussed. The paper provides an understanding of glycosyl adhesive synthesis, and its utilization in modifying different formaldehyde based adhesives. Hydroxyl and furfural reactions have been the main synthesis methods for the glycosyl adhesive and the glycosyl modified formaldehyde-based adhesives. The current adhesive synthesis methods have been highly dependent on the specific conditions, while most of the synthesis processes are not suitable for scaling up. The future research should focus on identifying an effecti...
